CHIP Mumbai was launched on the 5th of February 2004 in partnership with the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation), in an effort to work with schools that cater to some of the most disadvantaged groups in Mumbai.
Thinking of a visual concept to create merchandise was a challenge, but given that Mumbai has a dearth of well designed merchandise, we decided to create just that. CHIP targeted the high-end stores to market these and created quite a name for themselves.
